I'm running a 15.2" 1GHZ Powerbook G4, 1GB RAM, 64MB ATI Radeon 9000.

Overall, RvS runs incredible. The only map where I have major performance issues is Training.

I get anywhere from 6 to about 15 FPS on training, usually hanging between 9 and 10, which, in close combat, is pretty much unplayable.

VooDoo suggested that it might be a graphics card problem.

Downstairs I have a Dual 1.42GHZ G4, 2GB RAM, 128MB ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, it gets, oh, 20-25 FPS at Training. However, once I put the ATI Radeon 9000 in, it dropped down to 6-15. Just like my powerbook, dispite the massive speed and RAM difference.

Anyone else with an ATI 9000 have this problem? Any ideas how to tweak my graphics to make Training playable?

I've got more power than your G5 sitting downstairs, with a top notch 128MB Video card that runs things great, I just hate using desktops.

I know how to tweak the ini to improve my framerates, mostly I want to hear from someone else with an ATI Radeon 9000.

Typhy, im not if you desktop video card is a pci card or not, but if your laptop has a pci slot you may be able to try it in the powerbook.

The ATI 9800 is almost as big as my powerbook. . .
