First off, America sent no airplanes. We could make our own airplane. Do you know what the most highly produced airplane was in WWII? It was the Sturmovik. Did you know that the small amount of tanks you sent us= crap. The Sherman tanks suck shit. The Russians never used them, they used the T-34s. We should have been exporting you tanks. It is truthful that the USSR could have taken Germany. Even if England fell. The conflict would last longer and would reach a more appaling climax. As far as Tokyo is concerned. They were scared shitless of the Russians. They wanted to do anything possible to be at peace on the Manchurian frontier. Also there is another fact that you are wrong on. Russia did declare war on Japan and attacked Manchuria. They took it within 6 weeks after the bomb on Hiroshima was drooped. Actually here is an intresting fact. Technically WWII is still going on because Japan and Russia have not made a peace treaty, they are technically at war. Kind of like the Korean situation except without the paranoia.

Ok, this is now going nowhere.  Cossack has decided to rewrite history and say that the USA wasn't sending planes or supplies to Russia both before and after they entered the war.  It's not worth debating with that kind of argument.

And, with a parting shot, if England fell, and the USA wasn't involved, Germany would have been fighting a one front war.  It would have gotten twice as hard as before the USA got involved.  Not easier like it did.  And as for attacking Manchuria months after Germany fell and after Japan was already out of it, yeah, you are right, that's a great point about how Russia would have kicked their asses.  Japan didn't want to fight Russia because they didn't want a two front war, Russia didn't attack Japan because they didn't either (until Germany was no longer a threat).  During the war, American planes that landed in Russia that had attacked Japan were held, just like Ireland did, or any of the other "neutral" nations.  That is, until Germany was defeated.

No No No, You got me all worng Bucc. I was refering to Stalingrad. I meant to say that the supplies America gave to the USSR was not responsible for our victories, nor do we owe our survival to the US. I am not dening that the US sent supplies to the USSR. The German Generals would have taken Murmansk in a hartbeat if it were that case. Keep in mind I set out to proove that we do not owe our existence to the United States. It was crucial that the United States and Russia work together to defeat the Axis menace. One had to hold the other Axis Power at bay from attacking. America held Japan away from Russia while Russia held Germany away from United States. The United States bombed German industry while the mere presence of a Soviet Army kept a few Jappense Units gaurding the Manchurian Fontier. Dont take me for some dog headed Nationalist. I am also tring to give you the Russian prespective on the war. It is clear that you have grown up with the American prespective. You here WWII vets from the Pacific Theater talking about their experiences, you dont hear that much about the experience of one of the defenders of Leningrad and vise versa. Trust me I am alot more flexible than alot of Russians. They think that the whole world was based on their struggle and that the US did absolutly nothing except ride around in Jeeps and shoot at the already retreating Germans. Oh and BTW Bucc. I am not rewriting history. I did not say that the US never sent supplies, i just said that supplies sent made little or no impact till 1943. You have to remeber that the route to Murmansk was very perilous and that Tehran was isolated and remote from the British and American factories. Oh and Russia did not want to attack Japan. They attacked it in a deal struck up between the allies at the Confrences at Tehran and Yalta.


P.S. No shit Japan was already dead when we attacked. In an earlier post I interpreted you in saying that we never attacked Japan. I was just informing you that there was a conflict.

I am starting to think that this thread os getting a bit personal. I know some of my claims are very politically inccorect and have the potential to be offensive.  Please feel free and tell me if I am being offensive and I will back off, I can see how pride and country will make people angry at me. Yoda's comment that Russians use the Human wave tactic all the time offended me and this is what started this very intresting thread.
