  IT'S ROGUE SPEAR.  the programmers put something unrealistic in the game, wowzers!  that's why it's a fucking SIMULATION.  it's not supposed to be realistic you fruitcakes.  It's a G-A-M-E.  If you don't enjoy a certain aspect of the game then fucking DON'T PLAY.  it amazes me that people who don't know what they're talking about (aka NOOBS) can just all of a sudden come to GR in numbers and ruin it for the people that have been playing forever.

OMG!!!! I actually agree with colin! And he is correct. People say KoS uses third all the time...I just lean back in my chair and lmao. While im gunnin u down and u say im using third i just want u to cry me a fuckin river. Understand that 31337 RS vets dont use third as much as u think. Ive had someone accuse me of using third when third was OFF! Thats just how stupid some of you are. Ok nough said.

Gorf, you seemed to ignore me saying that OoA Reaper who has a 30000 account is the one who asked for the poll, that is a lower accoun number than you have by 20000.  So stop acting like you are some vet who knows better than others.

The reason 3rd person was removed isn't to do with realism.  It has to do with people not wanting it to be allowed.  It is as simple as that.  Also, based on the early results of the poll attached to this thread, we have no reason to make a real poll about it.

Yah, all you "vets" out there, calm down. If you did not use third so much, like you say, then why are you caring so much now? Everyone knows 3rd person is cheap. (If you do not think that sitting there without being seen and peeking around corner is not cheap, I do not know what is...) Anyways, 3rd person is off, live with it. You guys can quit playing the game if something you love is turned off. The outcomes of all the previous battle tourneys would have been way different if third person was off, I would bet on that. Reaper, i remember a while back, right before Gorf joined Spear, he had a 2v1, him against u and zak from DAMN (u were both in the subclan RG).  I was right beside him and watch as he owned BOTH of u!  I don't remember the score but i do remember that back then, neither he nor i knew what 3rd person was.  I didn't want to bring this up seeing as i didn't have a grudge against u but what u said above is not true!  I still watch gorf, one of the best KoS's (possibly the best, sry ulti), own without using 3rd.  Ulti is probably pissed that a bunch inexperienced people want and have the ability to ban something JUST because they think they were killed by it.  Ulti probably also figures that 3rd will not be the only thing to go just cause newbs were killed by it.  I have never seen someone (besides jeb...heh) really camp with third and i know that any respectible clan, of which includes pretty much every clan on gr, would never do it in a cb.  If they did, they would lose their reputation and nobody would want to cb them.  Same thing goes with c4!

Colin, this isn't a complete democracy here.  The only reason we allowed a vote for disallowing third person is because there was merit to doing so.  Trust that if someone tries to change a rule that has no reason to be changed, they couldn't get it changed simply by winning a vote.  There are times when we'll work with the community for what they think is best, there are others where we probably know better than others and will put our foot down.  So with that said, Ult has no need to fear...unless of course his talent lies only in the use of third person.

It's part of the game. Deal with it.  You can't just edit a game to make it noob friendly.  RS is a hard game to play.  harder than most of it's kind.  maybe if you pussies (ie: reaper) could swallow and not spit, and learn how to use it, then u could bitch less, and suck harder.

I personely dont care if 3rd person stayed or went...in fact i cant even
remember what i voted for. In game play, if the host has it on, I use it. If
its off, I dont. But what I will say, is that it is cheap and everyone that
uses it knows it. I can say that I forsee some big problems with this
coming season with one clan wanting to use 3rd and the other not
wanting to use it. ex:if Agt cb'ed KoS they would ask us to use
 3rd. I would say no. They would say, its an option. I would say, I know
They would complain that the only reason that we wont use 3rd is that
we can beat them with it. I will say, I DONT CARE. etc. etc. etc.......

Im sorry to use KoS as an example, but as a fact, Ultimo will be the one
to start the bickering. And I or i should say the rest of the battle
league clans will have to listen to it. And I for one, dont want to hear it.
