No App...

All command Line, in Basic.

The code that scrolled at the end was the actual programming that made it run.
It all starts with the cmnd  "run 1'' (orsomethign very similar)..and thats it.

I remember taking three days in 1980 to type 2200 lines to make a ball bounce around the screen like pong, and a box that morphed into different shapes.

Gawd, if i had learned that shit, id be rich today.

The language is BASIC (Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code), like Sheix said.  Gotta love the old school.

Sweet find, Sent.

Saturday mornings spent in front of the Tandy (hooked up to the minature round-screen tv) on the bright yellow kitchen table with orange placemats. Me in my giant framed tortoise shell glasses, green plaid pajamas, Speed Racer blaring in the background, My Dalmation 'Major' sitting on my feet keeping em warm, Chocolate chip cookies, and a giant glass of Tang. 1200 lines into the 1400 lines needed to make that fucking ball bounce...hopin there were no typos..knowing there were going to  be a ton...

Having my dad walk up with his cup of coffee, put his hand on my shoulder, and say, "Well son...thats pretty neat. Im proud of you."

Yeah, I just watched the latest GhR3 trailer and an iPod ad in ASCII. Pretty cool, although the letter resolution sucks, lol.

i took a 'programming' class in junior high... it was all BASIC....

my final project was a script that asked "Are you gay?"

Of course everyone would answer no, so upon entering that it would scroll LIAR over and over and had an ASCII smiling face.

Man, that was dope.

That was the first time i got kicked out of school.

Im working on a similar project where I have to ask questions, I should ask that, and then have it say "if you said no, do your parents know you are gay" or something kickass like that.

ps, i feel totally nerd right now
