Where am I at?

Im in an utter state of shock and confusion at what's happening to the country around us, the arrogance of the leaders we are stuck with, and the policy and decision making process that is leading us into the abyss of god knows what, and our newfound inability to force our leaders to guide us where we WANT to go, instead of watching them drag us where we have no business being. Where reason, logic and common sense are punished, and dissent is becoming a crime. All this from an administration that IMPEACHED a president over a BLOWJOB. <<--all that coming from a tree hugging diehard conservative who loves his country and has nothing but respect for the men willing to die for our freedoms to complain like I just did. They are heros..Like General Byrne.

That post  addresses where im at specifically with our administration, and where im at in my life with an idealism thats being slowly crushed out of me by the hypocrisy of an administration I VOTED FOR..and defended publically.

And ABSOLUTELY most certainly NOT picking a fight. Not even remotely
GS is staying in a place where im sure this is a VERY relevant topic with 'where people are" politically,  and socially. An honorable commander being relieved for screwing ONE person while the commander in chief is responsible for screwing us ALL.

If you read that as a shot from me at GS, you read me all wrong. like 100%.

He holds heros in high regard, as do i, and to see this man with a spotless record get pushed aside for doing his sacred duty (disagreeing with an administration when apropriate, to protect the military readiness- and uphold the promises made to those who enlist) goes to SPECIFICALLY address where we ALL are, in regards to where we stand with the democracy we live under and the administration that represents us.

The vast majority of your post was off-topic. Specifically, the Gen. Byrne section has absolutely no cohesive connection to what is being discussed in this thread, which is what you yourself are currently doing with the little time we all have on Earth. Not General Byrne. For that, I encourage you to start a new topic, or discuss it elsewhere more relevant to the subject matter.

Anyway, I can let the ideological position slide, because this is somewhat of an umbrella topic. That, however, doesn't mean it isn't somewhat out of left field, considering the previous responses in this thread. And I never specifically mentioned GS, only that I found your post to be potentially inflammatory. I simply don't understand the need to make political sentiment all-pervasive on this board- for that there are, as I said, specific topics, times, and places.

I quit school, took an internship at an ad agency, worked up to a job as web developer in ad agency (i've got to do a bunch of microsoft projects...). Currently thinking of going to SVA in new york to study Photography. I drink whisky, dark beers, and hieneken, my drinking isn't at problem status yet. And i smoke bitches all day long with my sniper rifle in battlefield 2 on pc. I'm not a pc whore, i have my g5, and a l33t pc for gaming. The way it should be done.

Bigpat works as a bmw tech, spends all his money on a car (its actually nice, no ricing), and he doesn't drink nearly as much as i do. Likes eating chickenwings at the bar, and unicorns. Lost a footrace to me, when i was drunk... all kinds of good stuff.

And i heard from Electronicjo last week, he is on PC (shity dell, comparable to the pink ibook he had) going to college, studying Macro N00bOwnZ0rship. And sometimes plays battlefield 2 demo.

As for me...

Graduated from University at last, with a big fat 1st Class degree. About to start work at a film production company near me, mean while desperately trying to finnish off several free lance projects. Still working as a big fucking bouncer in some very nice clubs/bars and finding it hard not to drool over the very attractive punters.
Drinking to much whisky, not getting enough exercise, eating what appears to be my body mass of food daily, and still hitting my head on door frames.

Oh yes and I'm pretty much disgusted more than i could ever believe at the state of the world right now - mostly thanks to My best buddy, mr Fuckwit and his merry band of retards, yes its the man  himself George Dubbya.
