Like GhostSniper's quiz, except the winner only gets a kiss from Cookie ( I'm sure I can convince her ).

Tell me the name of:

1.) German engineer who developed the first oil-burning internal-combustion engine in the 1880s

2.) Scottish mathematician who designed a useful steem engine - a key component to the development of the Industrial Revolution.

3.) 1870s American inventor of the phonograph and lightbulb. ( Edison )

4.) German engineer who redesigned the internal combustion engine to run on gasoline.

5.) British physicist who, in 1831, discovered that a magnet moving through a coil of copper wire produced an electric current.

6.) Struggling barber who invent the water frame, a water powered spinning jenny.

7.) British ironworker who became a pioneer in development of steel from iron in the mid-1800s.

8.) Italian inventor of the wireless telegraph, or radio in 1895

9.) In 1807, this American invetor designed the first commercial steamboat

10.) 1830s American invetor of the telegraph

11.) Scottish born inveot and teacher of the deaf who is credited with inventing the telephone in 1876

12.) American inventor who developed the cotton gin in 1793, also credited with pioneering the concept of interchangable parts that increased factory production.

13.) Former bicycle mecanics who developed and created the first working prototype of the airplane.

14.) Former bicycle mechanic who pioneered the automobile and assembly line for production

15.) In 1787, this poet and minister invented the steam powered power loom

16.) Invented the spinning jenny ( for thread ) in the 1760s.

Obviously I know Edison, the Wright brothers, Henry Ford and a few others, just answer any that you know that answer to.

Bet I can get a kiss from Cookie for free. Cheesy But then again, you don't have the breathtaking charm of Mr. Mellow, nor my stench of Guinness and cheap cigars.

If this is your homework, you really need to learn how to use google better, it is easy enough to enter in "Inventor [Item]" Mind you, I only used it to double check and just left out things I had no clue on.
