Christmas, how do you manage to run a Nuke Class Sub aground these days??

I don't know....I guess if you try at it real hard anything is possible.  Just makes me cringe to think that these guys have the ability to launch nuclear weapons.

they don't have the power to launch nuclear weapons, the San Francisco is a los angeles class attack sub. Even the ballistic subs (Ohio class) can't launch without hte authority of the president. (which isn't much better if you ask me)

Okay, I'm really tired of people who don't know anything about the military trying to out think me.  The Los Angeles Class Attack Subs do carry nuclear weapons.  They can fire both conventional and nuclear Tomahawk Cruise Missiles.  So yes, both the attack subs and the Boomers can launch nuclear weapons.  And although they don't have the "authority" to launch without the President's permission....there are ways around even that.  Now, how scary is that?[/size]
