lol

Yeah unfortunatly it would be a different matter if we had say 20 or 30 really active clans... but when were struggling to get even 10 good and active clans its another matter i think

yw, or the right ammount when i think about it. lets say every clan plays each clan once and all matches happen defined at weekends, then the season is as long as it is now with about ten weekends. finals are already set on a defined date in this season, from this perspective... .

would even add alot of interesting stuff since you know your enemie on the next weekend and around ten cbs should be sufficient to determine finals- and relegation-participants.

an option could be to play two matches per week (every clan twice). all this system surely wouldnt work for the bf ladder and its not intended for these ladders, but rvs could earn alot from it. last but not least all the unfairness-threads that come again and again would have an end.

True, although we get back to the problem that the community plays and wants to play different ammonts - some guys play several games a week, others one maybe every couple of weeks... And of course pre set times lead to the Time differences problem

Do you know why we struggle to get 10 clans which are good and active? It is what I call "KF syndrome." The good clans have gobbled up the good players, leaving no one to train and give a competitive chance to the newer/weaker players. If our league bothers you, and you are a good player, start your own clan.

Here is another angle. Consider this all-star game. If your clan has to stop and think about "which two" you will send, your clan has an unfair amount of depth on the cb chart. If every clan had two and no more really excellent (activity and skill) players, the ladder would be both more even and more active.

This concludes Ara's controversial idea of the day. Tune in next time. Wink

in reply to bfg's post:

sure but, is this really a problem?
different time zones: not a problem for the super finals already. to finalize this thought, a checkbox at each of the clan-pages could identify at which times (e.g. us/euro/asia) the clans are able to play (or: usually play) and by this the system can even set all the cbs for the season then with proposed time to play.

the thread is about two divisions. clans that can't or don't want to play a cb every weekend will be happy about the second division, where they can play when and what they want, like it is with the system now, to determine which clan plays the relegation for/with the/a first division(er).
