The *nRg clan would appreciate it if an Admin took a look at a replay for what we think might be a glitch.  You can contact me for the replay files and associated screen shots.

Thank you in advance, admins.

We have rejected the match in the meantime until a ruling can be made.

OK we have a decison for you.

After lenghy discussion etc Admins desicion was that the cb be accpted.

However in future Doc i suggest you are more carfull where you lay down in future or you might find quite easily that decisions are not made in your favor

Thanks.

thanks to all the admins who took part in this.  I think we had a good argument and evidence, but I know how hard it is to prove something to be a 100% deliberate glitch.  Hell, even OJ got away with murder Cheesy

the cb has been accepted and confirmed.

I'm sorry BFG, but are you sure you're looking at the right replay?? These are screen shots taken from it.

- He's prone on the steps
- Half his gun is in the wall!

Please take a closer look... thanks!

Mr T.. we already talked about it.. if you look at his view you will see that he is not "on" the steps.. he is on the top platform above the steps and he can be shot.

Hey Mr T.

Thanks for the SS's but as im sure you can understand i prefer to watch replays although i have looked at the SS's.

1. Yes at the start his gun did intersect the wall briefly - this was not when there was any action and was shortly after hey dropped down. from his view we did not belive he could have been aware of this.

In the run up to and while u were coming round the corner he was on the top of the steps over hanging slightly but his gun and body were clear from any intersections with the map (specifically the wall) and i belive had u shot it would have counted without issue.

Had the gun been intersecting the wall and the shot not been clean (ie through walls or some element of the map) we would have viewed this differently.

Lying on stairs dosn't guarentee glitching - it is more likely if your moving from one angel to another but in this case his body was clear during the relevant time - and from his FPS view i think it would have been inpossible for him to see otherwise.

that said - it was not a very good place to decide to lie down!

I hope that clears things up for u a bit.

while playing in game and while looking at the replay it was easy to think that there was in fact a glitch.  I want to make it clear that *nRg was within their rights to bring this matter before the admin team and have them sniff around.  The actions were suspicious, but after clos examination by several admins it was ruled that there was not a glitch on Vilnius and that it was also impossible to tell whether there was a glitch on aztec or not.  It's not like we were taking a shot in the dark.

*nRg did bring forth their concerns with good evidence and no malice, but its undestandable why the ruling was made against their concerns.

Its simply a case of the admins doing the best they could and coming to the only decision possible based on the evidence.

Thanks again Cheesy

I'm cool with the ruling.

Lee Harvey -- You guys may have talked about it, but I wasn't in on the details of how you came to your ruling until BFG's post.

BFG -- Thanks for your explanation. I think a detail of the Admin's decision should accompany all rulings (maybe it does... I've never raised an issue about a CB before)

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how much time has been wasted investigating Stripes and/or the clan he is in? It seems everytime I come to this forum he has done something and the admins need to waste time dealing with it. I can see why nothing has happened with this situation but when are you guys gonna put your foot down!?!?!?

1st - why is this my fault now?

2nd - stop being a sore loser

3rd - we had some fair games yesterday, why bring up that shit now?

* 's i didn't even talk to the admins about that issue, i dunno if another .iP. did - i died like after 30 secs on that map, and i accepted it with no bs! -

and i weren't even close to a glitch in the cb, so why ur insulting me now?

1. Lob this had nothing to do with stripes, the player in quesiton was .iP. Doc.

2. Stripes they have every right to ask admins to look at the replays - had i been lob, weak or MrT i would have most likely done the same...

3. Stripes it had nothing to do with you other than it being the same clan.

I know it had nothing to do with Stripes this time I was there. But I challenge anyone to name a season where him or his clan wasn't in trouble for something!!!! I hope I don't need to draw a picture for you guys to get my point across!!!

I think Lob was just expressing some frustration that has a foundation but in this case is a bit unfair.

No, Stripes was not involved directly in this matter, but his actions in the past have given a reputation on battle league.

Sorry if you have to pay this price for your own past action, Stripes.  I guess it just comes with being a confirmed cheater in the past.   Sadly, I think you will encounter this a lot as you continue to play on the *DBL.

Either way, I think this matter is closed.  Thanks for the help and patience of the *DBL admins for seriously looking at this making a credible decision.
