Was their a "as is" on the ebay ad? for those that use ebay, can you edit your ad at anytime? If so, then it may have been useful to have taken a ss of the ad and export it as pdf incase you needed it as proof.
This is fucked up....my bro has a palm pilot m515, his battery does not last as long anymore. If he uses it for 30min the battery level goes down to half. So he looked into buying a new battery directly from Palm or any of their resellers here in Canada. Well turns out that Palm wont sell it anymore b/c the model is too old. The only other alternative that he has found is eBay. But I told him that its a risk and now after reading this story, I am more inclined to sway my bro not to do it.....but I know my bro, if this is the case, he will most likely go out and buy a new one, which I dont want him to go and spend that coin if he CAN somehow find a new battery for his model.
You can change your description ONLY if there are no bids on it. After that, you can't do shit. I buy and sell a lot of shit on ebay... and never been fucked like this... sucks snipes, I feel for you!
