OMG woot! It's 2 for 1 night down at the old misdirection corral. Let's not actually refute any of their points, let's just change the subject and talk about something else for a while to make it seem like we did.
Like I said in a similar post, very very little of this has anything to do with kerry. It's just a schizophrenic attempt to smear someone while making yourself look like the victim and a voice of reason. Therefore, I hereby declare this to be the "Bondo" method of propagandization.
Where has that lovable old fruit been anyway?

The Bush election commitee has essentially taken all the Left's good thunder and condensed it into a nicely packaged web-ad, resplendid with jaring images of Hitler and Nazis.
So, they've made an ad that shows passionate men esposing Democratic criticism of Bush, intercut that criticism with
Nazis
, and then ends with an off-beat emotional note -- that Bush is full of optimism?! He just made an ad that compares Leftists to Nazis! Where's the fucking optimism? In Hitler's ass?

I don't think that was quite what they were trying to say. Traditionally, the candidate who is the most optimistic is the one who wins. Seeing as Kerry has taken great pains to not appear negative or pessimistic during this campaign, the bush spin doctors feel it necessary to cast the image of negativity on him. Ironically, that very act makes the Bush campaign appear negative undermining the whole goal of the ad in the first place.
So, all on fronts, this ad is a total failure.

That was funny as hell. I can't believe it was actually made by the Bush campaign. Seems like a spoof you'd see on Newgrounds.

Until the URL actually registered I thought it was a spoof.

Not sure what they're thinking.
When the image of hitler comes up, it says in the text "God told me to strike at al-Quida and I struck them..." then the image fades to bush with his arm in the air (text continues) "...and then he instructed me to strike Saddam, which I did."
That was one submitted movie out of hundreds from an amatuer on the Moveon.org site.
It's not supposed to reference leftists compared to hitler, but instead its another example of how the left potrays Bush in a negative comparison to Hitler.
The ad together with the message is not very clear at all. The only clear messages are coming from the clips of democratic leaders showing moments of rage at Bush's lack of leadership. Maybe they think since this sort of outrage sank Dean they can do it to Kerry. Weak. I hope they run this a lot.
