I found this a very spinless sight. It is a collection short films taken by an embedded reporter with a Field Artillery Unit based in one of Uday's old palaces. There is no spin, there is just the soldiers, dealing with everyday life in one of Baghdad's most troubled areas.

So without further adoo here is the site:

Great site, Coss.

For anybody wondering what it's like to be a soldier on the ground in Iraq right now, check out this site:

Just Another Soldier

E-mail the address at the bottom to join the list. The guy who writes it is an Infantryman who is currently deployed to Iraq. He writes every few days and is an excellent writer.

He doesn't talk about the war as a whole, doesn't make judgements as to the rightness of the war. He just tells stories about his day to day life. It's just a damn interesting read.
