Check out this very interesting article on this secretive and affluent organization. It's especially important to note that both President Bush and the Democratic Presidential front runner, John Kerry are former Bonesmen.

http://www.guerrillanews.com/counter_intelligence/doc808.html

"As soon as Bush got into the White House, one of the first social gatherings he had was a reunion of his Skull & Bones members. Then almost immediately he started appointing other members of Skull & Bones into positions into the Justice Department and later the Office of Homeland Security."

Ya know, im not the biggest bush fan, but stuff like this doesn't bother me.  This organization sounds like to me a bunch of guys who like the 'glamour' of war, but who don't actually want to participate (aside from Kerry that is).

As for this society having ties to the Nazi party, i'm skeptical.  Any 'News' reporting agency that takes on such a flashy and alarmist motif, such as the Guerilla News Network, and has headings like 'Counter-Intelligence', to me seem like they're just looking for a conspiracy.  If is see AP or Reuters reporting this, then I'll believe it.

As for Bush appointing members to high level administration positions, this is nothing new nor unique.  It's just the nature of politics and big business, and in my opinion, I don't see too much wrong with it.  If you have to pick people to help you run a company or organization, of course you're going to pick the people that you've known for a long time, and that you trust.  If i'm going to start a company, i'm not going to set up interviews for a vice president, i'm going to bring along someone who i already know, and i know shares the same goals and values as I do.

just my thoughts.

i've read some pretty crazy conspiracy theories on the skull and bones. most of which is bs. stuff like bush being responsible for killing kennedy, secretly running the world, and so on. once you learn who some of the members are though you'll see pretty fast that the men that have been in this fraternity have played big parts in american and international history.

the members list is mighty impressive and it's true most of them have held high offices in government.  a good majority of them have been ambassadors, congressmen, and senators. not to mention the members that have been president.  but it's not uncommon for friends or frat brothers to hook other brothers up with jobs. these guys just happen to have names like rockafeller, taft, bush, and pillsbury etc.

in my opinion it's just another frat...a frat for the uber rich found at only one school with members that have held many high political offices and or owned some of the biggest companies we know.

almost anything you can find on the web on the subject is filled with bs, including on this site...

http://www.parascope.com/articles/0997/skullbones.htm

but theres some interesting stuff worth reading there. their connection to the CIA is pretty interesting.

Dean is also a bonesman. Infact any Yale upstart in poltics is quite possibly a bonesman. A frat is a frat is a frat.

I just keep thinking of the Stonecutter's episode from The Simpsons.

I bet Bush and his bonesmen all have their own secret tunnels to bypass traffic too, the bastards. Wink
