ok well im running on a 1 GHz powerpc G4 and i installed halo and put in the cd key then it comes up with the all the things u can choose so i put everything in medium put my ip adress in i go into the game it doesint even get to the menu. It just quits out after 8 seconds any help?

You shouldn't need your IP address in there.  Try reinstalling Halo and see if that fixes it.

I put my ip in and it still ran fine.

I would go to ur home/library/preferences/ and delete ur halo prefs and reinstall. I also think halo asks for a 3d accelerator card in order to run.

It should automatically find your Graphics card - and select the most appropriate drivers. LIke voodoo said though chuck all the preference files and start over... if there is some form of default install try that first before tampering with settings... wish i could help more but my copy is still in the post!!
