Rule number 13 states:

Quote
13. Clans are allowed to substitute players with these following conditions: A player who crashes during a game may be substituted. Subsequently, that game will be replayed according to rule 10. A player, who leaves during a CB, but not during a game, may also be substituted. The player who is leaving must be replaced within 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes has expired, the clan with the player who left must play the next game short handed.

What happens after the first game is played with a player short? Can a player be put back into the game to even it out AFTER the first game is played?

Swftkill - The 5 minute 'timer' that is enacted is so that the CB will not be held up any longer than it has to be.  If you start a 4v4 CB short-handed, you would have 5 minutes from the end of the lag tests to find another player.  If you have not found another player within 5 minutes after the host was agreed upon after lag tests, then the CB must go on with one team short-handed.  After that first game is played, or any further games, the team who was short-handed can have a player join at any time.  However, they will have to wait for the current game to end befre they can play.  In short, if you start out short-handed you can add a player all the way until the end of the CB if need be.  If this does not answer your question, please reply and be as specific as possible.  Thank you.

Refer also to rule 27:

Quote
27. You may organize a CB at a set time. At the set CB time, you have to wait no more than 15 minutes for all players to be online and ready to play. If fewer players appear than agreed to, you have to start with all available players (at least 2), while the other team can play with the agreed number of players. If one team has less than 2 players online after 15 minutes of the agreed time, the other team wins by forfeit, 6-0. If a player comes later, he or she can still join the game.....

My reading of this would be anytime a clan starts a cb a player short they are free to bring in a player at anytime one becomes available...in between games of course.
