Why dodge bullets when you can just suck 'em all in!??

« on: July 13, 2003, 10:49:51 pm »

Hey everybody- here's my situation:

For the past 3 years I have been modding Rogue Spear- for 1 year, I was getting bored and disstracted with other games. I have finally come back to Rogue Spear, only to find that the community has decreased and the game seems old now. To make matters worse, AOL deleted a phone line, so now I lag terribly and can no longer play online. My skin mod is (honestly) incredible! I don't know if I should just drop this whole game modding thing and just continue on with my life, disappointed I was never a recognized modder. Or, should I keep on modding and hope my site gets hosted, my mods are put up correctly (who knows what AOL will do) and maybe get some downloads?

Would anybody still even download things for Rogue Spear/Urban Operations? (Skins)

I would appreciate some feedback and maybe some inspiration!

Well, you might not get much attention for mods in the PC world, but the Mac RS world is in need of something to spark it up again. If your mod was good enough, you'd be praised by many..either way, it would get alot of attention, maybe you should head over to the Mac parts of these forums and organise something...collaboration of some sort mb? just a suggestion if you wanna get your mod off the ground.

Thanks-

I've decided to continue on with my mod, so it will be completed sometime soon. I do not have a MAC or know anything about them, so, I could always just send *DAMN my skins for them to convert for MAC users- maybe some weapon mods included (I dunno).

Well, I post back when I finish my mods  Grin

I just need 3D Studio Max 3.0, lol (got 4.0 and 5.0 but those are too "up to date".

I just normally make skins, but maybe a BIG  Shocked mod could be made with new weapons, maps, skins, etc
