« on: June 12, 2003, 06:06:06 pm »

was having fun going through the missions and it ran well except for the first mission. but now im up to mission 5 and everytime i try to load this mission ( press the advance arrow from setup screen) which then it goes to the screen where you wait for it to load, and it never does, i guess i always crash in this faze, cause it never advances beyond this point. i want to continue w/ the missions. any idea whats up?

No idea because I played through the whole campaign without any troubles(technically speaking).

Well please post your lke.log file after you crash. May that helps to find what causes the problem.

Bye,

Mauti

Just open your Ghost Recon - Desert Siege Folder there it is. You should be able to open the file with apple works or simple text. I am on OS9.2.2 as well so this doesn't matter.

thx again mauti. ill do that once i get out of work and go home and intentionally crash my computer.
on another note, im running recon w/ virtual memory on cuase i only have 384 mb of ram.(So i have vm set at 990mb) going to purchase more ram so i can run it w/out vm on. does that increase performance of game if you have alot of ram w/ virtual memory turned off?

I have noticed that by increasing VM you also decrease the amount of HD space you have.  That hurts my nuts simply by hearing it.
