Hello

I can't get IT to appear as a mod in GR.

I've managed to extract the .cab files, and following the advice of another post, ditched the data2 folder and worked only with the data1 files.  I also ditched all files that didn't have Mp2 in the title, and renamed them according to the post. I then patched the Mp2 folder and started GR - but the IT mod doesn't appear.

Actually, I got it to appear once, but when I went back to the Main Screen, everything was white so I had to guess where the buttons were.  I finally found my way through to create a new campaign, where I was able to select an IT campaign (screen still all white except for lists) but when I started the campaign, it started the first map of the DS series!! So I ditched the Mp2 folder and created a new one, but now the mod won't appear at all.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong, and how to fix it?  I've tried restarting after installing the Mac IT patch, I have installed the 1.4 update (and it confirms this at the main screen).  What's wrong?!?!?

Hoping for help - I wanna play IT!!

Thanks

Matt

That sounds like GhR is finding the modscont.txt file (which gives the name of the mod), thereby allowing you to enable IT, but it's not finding some or all of the other folders. When GhR can't find a graphic that it knows is supposed to exist, you get that white texture instead. It happens for guns, so I'm assuming it's happening for the title screen and others too. I'm sorry I can't be of specific help, but perhaps that will put you on the right track towards fixing the problem. Good luck. : )

Thanks for the reply, although now I'm even deeper stuff as I can't even get the game to load unless I remove the Mp2 folder from the Mods folder!!
