does anybody know what ports i need to open in order to get rs to go through a firewall?
is it 2346-8 or some other port?

I'm pretty sure GR forces RS to use port 15000, so try opening that up and see what happens.

what port does gr use to send data
i need that for the 'trigger' so my firewall will open 15000

with my firewall I had to put that computer in the DMZ in order to host games.

as for forwarding the ports... I just forwarded everything over 2000 to that mac... figuring that I use more then just one game.  As long as you are out of the first 100 ports, you aren't likely to screw anyone else on the network up.
