heres my newest (not quite finished) creation.

can anyone tell me how to align the textures at the top of the gun?
you can see the mistake under the carriing handle.

apart from that: does anyone know how to use smooth on only a few polys?? and texturing for tubes/cylinders? Grin

It's har to see the texture in these shots, you'd probably be better off using a larger texture, but just make sure you built the model with the texture as a template, and selected the whole model before applying the UVW map to it.

Im presuming you are making this for a mod?
If so I wouldnt use meshsmooth as it will increase your polycount quite a lot.
