Typhy, you didn't help anything there.

Colin, all the locked threads in the BL forum are because they are dead topics...no one needs post in the Clan Tournement thread so any post would be spam...so I lock it.  The other ones had gotten to the point where everything was discussed that needed to be...that I feel is why your one was locked.

sry typhy but that's not gonna happen and i don't need a lecture from u!  I wanna know why my thread was locked, i see no apparent reason.  This is ridiculous!  Would a responsible moderator (hopefully the one who locked it) please post and tell me why my thread was locked?

why would u do that?  By unneccisarily locking the topic ur just creating more problems, there was no arguement in my post or anything of a "shitflingish" (love that word) manner.  Just because nobody has said anything for a day or two doesn't mean u need to lock it!  Why would u guys start locking things now instead of when the whole force vs ak thing was on?  Obviously i wouldn't be arguing about this unless u locked a topic (several actually) that i still wanted to post in.  Why risk that?  Why risk a bunch of people complaining because they still had things to say?  Is there something bad that would come of not locking these topics???

Okay Colin, your thread was locked beacuse it was over. It was done, it was a questioning thread, which should have been posted in the "Sugestions, opinions, critisismns" or whatever that board is called. Once you got the answer to your question, the thread no longer had a point. Your going on about it made it need to be locked. Thats why. Seriously, the moderators don't have time to deal with hunderds of pointless  threads, and if each time a thread is locked, a new one is created complaining about the lock, this will get really messed up. In my opinion, screw the locking, if you start the spam in a thread or make threads like this, then you should be gone. End of story.

First off, to your next post. There is a modify post button, it allows you to add to your posts rather than double posting. Secondly, the point of locking threads at all is to keep the quality high, look at an example of a good forum: www.ambrosiasw.com Go to the forums there, you will notice very few locked topics, that because if you post poorly you're gone. And secondly, topics are deleted rather than locked. If you just let this place turn into a spam war, then everyone would have as many posts as Bondo, and it would be impossible to have a good argument.
