Hey vooDoo!

Great to hear from you.

Yes GameRanger is still a thing if you need to play some multiplayer on old PC games that used GameSpy(defunct since a few years) back in the days.

Haha Rapid, omg don't remind me :-)

Great times with everyone of you and yes check Squad out although of course nothing can bring back the spirit from the very early online games.

Much love and all the best,

Mauti
ps.:if you are ever should visit Vienna give me a call. Beer is on me.
pps.: this invitation of course counts to all my old school buddies

I recently played a few single player missions and it was quite fun. Unfortunately I didn't get it to connect to any multiplayer service when I tried it with Elandrion. Even via GameRanger it failed. I think it has something to do with my router setup (damn issues from the past haunting me). But I would be up for some RvS old school action.

Beside that I play some Siege from time to time with Elandrion. Especially good old terrorist hunt. Personally I prefer Squad (see my post above) the most at the moment. Really tactical and lots of team work to get something going. Really enjoy it.

Hi All,

Would be nice to get a game of RVS some how. I played PC RVS after RVS GR died.  Still some people playing time to time.
Take care

Hehe, nice Ein.

I'm currently playing a  lot of Squad and love it. Tactics instead of twitch skills, effective surppression effects, excellent voice setup (local, squad and command radio) make this a true gem. Camoflague is also excellents like Ghost Recon was one of the first games where resolution made a huge difference to spot enemies or not.

However you really need a beefy CPU to play this game and it still misses a few important features like join your friends on server, favourite servers,... Nevertheless it's really makes a lot of fun if you are in a good working squad.

Last but not least it's currently for sale: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/squad?partner=trufflepiggy
