Title: The Next Gen Graphics cards and the juicy choice for the New pro macs. Post by: BFG on February 27, 2006, 11:17:11 pm Couldnt' help but post about this, i love my graphics cards and if Apple start putting cards like this in their macs im probably going to start levitating. The GeForce 7900 GTX is nearing completion and the specs are awsome, they go a little as follows:
• PCIe native • 655MHz core frequency • 256-bit memory interface • 52GB/sec. memory bandwidth • 15B pixels/sec. fill rate • 1450M vertices/sec. • 24 pixels per cycle • Built in twin dual-link DVI support for twin 2560x1600 resolution displays The initial release will be a two slot design, followed by a single slot design later in the moth, coinciding with the release of the Quad-SLI. I believe the only way to describe it is somting along the lines of "hot diggady!" Title: Re: The Next Gen Graphics cards and the juicy choice for the New pro macs. I had an NVidia in my old iMac and couldn't do anything with it - this computer I can run ATI Displays and it makes some games play much better. And that card had power.. haha. Never failed me :) Title: Re: The Next Gen Graphics cards and the juicy choice for the New pro macs. Post by: BTs_Mysterio on February 28, 2006, 12:21:39 am Does ATI offer crossfire (ATI's SLI) on the statistically faster X19000?
