I just wanted to come in and say that some bastard has stolen my mountainbike and now I got to take the bus to work till i get a new one.

that f*cking sucks mate. I had some bastard nick my mountain bike while i was on the water training one day... i was out for 30mins or not much more and the bastard took the bike which i had left padlocked with a D-lock to a freaking big sturdy railing..

the weird thing was.... the D-lock was still locked, just swinging with no bike attacked :( ???

Mine was locked, at work. All that was left was my lock cut in half. 
Some guy had the balls to go the stalls (which are very near the reception area ) were all the bikes are take out his big ass pliers and cut through a class D type abus lock in broad daylight.

Little cheeky fucker. However you will be pleased to know i caught the suspect red handed... just didn't fancy trying to get it off him...

Yeah Rev, although i wasn't using that kind of D-Lock i've since learnt (and been shown heh by a fellow doorman) exactly how to make use of a biro (bic pen) to unlock it in a matter of seconds, i was so bloody surprised when i did it i can't describe the look on my face!!

Any suggestion what kind of lock to buy then ? And please not the kind of lock that weighs more then
