I have a question. Is there a way to create skins for R6 or EW? Single or multiplayer? Any help in this categorry would be much appreciated.

Hi Razz,

sure you can create skins for R6 and EW. The only thing you need is a write application, a photo application like Photoshop and the rsb converter of your R6 CD.(At least it is on the Mac cd). The easiest way is to convert  the textures of excisiting uniforms convert them to simple pics and open them in Photoshop. Edit the textures and reconvert it to a rsb file with the smae name before. Now start a game where you use the these uniforms and you can see your textures. For detailed instructions read our R6 Tutorial at our mod section! Good Luck.

 I'm Bernie and yesterday I joined R6 Forum. I know Mauti and Ebola and  
and I have 3 questions about R6.

1) M00_fm_killhouse2_mp.mps:
   In this tutorial you are alone and must fight against 30 tangos.
This mission doesn?t have the briefing plan and it doesn?t allow to choose the operatives and uniforms you want. I?d like to take operatives with me in this tutorial mission.
Can I do it? Which files have I to modify? How?

2) Multi Player & Single Player:
   The mission files  .MUL  and  .MULT  are for net play but I?d like to use them for single player.
Can I do it? Which files have I to modify? How?

3) All mission files have this:
// Gore info
1  or   0    // Gore disabled for this mission
   What is the GORE? Can you tell me the meaning of disabled and the meaning of 0 and 1?

Gore is blood! And about the other questions RS offers a test.brf as well as a test.int so you have to link to these files. How you can do this read throught the modcreating guide. One hint: You have to open the mission.lst and then you have to remove the pln link because this is the reason why it immediatly starts the missions. Then fill in test.brf and test.int in the right lines and thats it. Ah you also have to link to a .mis file but I think you will get it.

I have tried to do what you said but R6 crash. There is something wrong. I think I did some error.
But what I only wanted was to know how I can take some operatives with me in 2 missions: m00_fm_citystreet_mp  and   m00_fm_citystreet_mp.

Later I tried to modify the  m00_fm_citystreet_mp.pln,
I have add three operatives in the plan.
I wrote this:

Lol why do you have modified a plan file??? However I will send or post the right file here tomorrow. BTW Lol you can't take coordinates from other maps ;) jesus. R6 must CRASH.

Why did you say I didn't change the plan file?

Do you know how put and place the trees and bush in the map?
The coordinates are in cm.? Where the coordinates start from? From left to right, from up to down? Are they cartesiane's coordinates? I mean  X  Y  Z .
How can I draw them? Which is the way?

First you can't set any trees or bushes you can only put barrels, cars, planes and other avaible objects on the map. You can gather these coordinates with the help of the debugkeys. Read the modcreating guide, how to use the debugkeys.

However I never said that you didn't change the plan file I wrote why did you change a plan file!? This can only cause crashes hehe.

The Missions:  _MUL.mis, _MUL.mps, _MULT.mps  are for multiplayer, but I ask if it is possible to play them in singleplayer mode.
I have tried to set 0 (This is an adversarial mission) but it doesn?t work!
What are the Spawn points? I don?t understand the meaning.
What have I to modify to play the MUL and MULT missions in singleplayer mode?
Anyone can help me, please?

The question is: How can I do to have the briefings in those tutorial missions that don?t have the briefing?

You only have to refer to the test.brf. So you have a standard briefing you can use for all missions!
Forget to modify the plan files. You don't need to modify any plan files. If you want to play a _MUL mission in single player you have to set "Is this an adversial mission" to 0 and you have to take the coordinates(use a pair of the team start points) for the start points. Just copy and paste. And then you have to delete all files under the adversial line. Now change the Victory ?Condition first to "VicCondNone.txt" to test the mission later you can refer to a VicCond where you have to kill all tangos. (Just use the one that is used in the ?City Street Large mission) At the end you have to add this mission as a tutorial mission in the mission.lst. There you have to change many variables.

The best thing you could do even if you only have a 56k connection is to download R6 Never Dies and open my files so you can see what you have to change.

It needs 3 hours to download and I can't download.
I'd like to get RSND but I can't.

Download Monica(2.2MB) from our stuff section with this handy utility you can stop and resume downloads so to download R6ND shouldnt be so difficult!
