I'm the head of my household. - The average game player is age 30. I'm 32! - Women over the age of 18 represent a greater portion of the gameplaying population (28%) than boys from ages 6 to 17 (21%). Well, my wife doesn't play games at all, so I don't know about this one. - Gamers devote more than triple the amount of time spent playing games each week to exercising or playing sports, volunteering in the community, religious activities, creative endeavors, cultural activities, and reading. I don't think I devote that much time to gaming. I maybe play an hour or so a night, even though I leave GameRanger on a lot more. To balance that out, I work out at the gym an hour a night, I volunteer in the community several hours a week, I go to church 2 or 3 hours a week, I read at least an hour a night, and then of course I devote at least an hour a day to sex. ;) Title: Re: Essential Facts About The Computer Game Industry Post by: bronto on October 19, 2005, 07:46:52 pm I devote at least an hour a day to sex you mean 10 minutes of sex and 50 of trying to catch your breath? ::lol:: ::applause:: ::bussi:: Title: Re: Essential Facts About The Computer Game Industry Post by: (SiX)Sheixhundt on October 19, 2005, 10:18:29 pm No silly,
48 minutes of downloading, 5 minutes of opening and arranging looped clips on the desktop, (top left reserved for money shots) 4 minutes of furious 'action' then a 3 minute wipedown. Force-quit is set to a hotkey...in case 'someone' pops in unexpectedly. Bronto must not be married. As for the spending more time playing games/being on the computer than I do excercise, interact w/ the community, so on and so forth, I admit this is true, however I still consider myself in fairly decent shape (though not stellar, I certainly have been better). Expose (or rather anti-expose) is also a good one for the "move all windows out the way so u can just see the desktop" - removes all evidence in a flash - and with 'apple style' !!!
