Title: Laptop Bag Post by: theweakspot on October 02, 2005, 10:02:19 pm I need a new laptop bag for my 15" AlBook. I want something that where I can easily carry the book, charger and a few other goodies (firewire, CDs, digicam....).
Anyway, any of you guys own a pretty good messenger bag? I'm a teacher so i will be using my book everyday and hauling it around often. Something stylish but functional more than anything. this is the one im leaning towards... http://www.booqbags.com/Detail.bok?no=94 Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: BFG on October 03, 2005, 02:39:26 am No weak No!! go get yourself a crumpler (http://www.crumplerbags.com/cartIndex.php?catId=5) bag, i have one for my 12inch powerbook, its great, nuff said :)

Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: (SiX)Sheixhundt on October 09, 2005, 05:18:22 am cost was a factor to me, and i got a basic Kensington..(dont have model)
Plenty of room for everything, very well padded, and approx 40.00. Not too fancy, not too plain..looks good. Very well padded. Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: :MoD:Shade on October 09, 2005, 05:40:30 am BFG is going more for style. O0
Attracts the ladies. ;) Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: BFG on October 09, 2005, 11:26:48 am The fusion flex (apple bag) from brenthaven looks nice.
Shade is somewhat right - i went for a bag that really dosn't look like your traditional laptop bag - not really a fan of saying "hey look, i've god a damn sexy laptop on my back" Then again, saying "hey look its a god damn sexy bag attached to a god damn sexy bloke" is another matter ;) but they are incredibly comfy bags, lots of space for laptop and accessories, and seriouse padding and protection :) Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: BTs_GhostSniper on October 09, 2005, 05:39:13 pm I got the Kensington Contour Pro 17" for my 17" PowerBook. I use the inside sleeve made for the PowerBook for my Wacom Intuos3 Graphics Tablet, and then I got a beautiful Vyper 17" PowerBook Sleeve to house my PowerBook.
Kensington Contour Pro 17" Can be found here: http://www.macmall.com/macmall/shop/detail~dpno~285255.asp Vyper Sleeve can be found here: http://www.macmall.com/macmall/shop/detail~dpno~194298.asp[/size] Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: th.Sentinel on October 09, 2005, 11:41:41 pm I got this one (http://www.targus.com/uk/product_details.asp?sku=TFS201) for my iBook. But I'm not really pleased with it cause there isn't much space to put anything big next to the iBook.
Lifetime warranty on it though... Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: theweakspot on January 14, 2006, 10:41:01 am ok, finally got arounf to buying something
http://www.stmbags.com.au/mediumloft Its well built, roomy enough for my plan books and a text or two and holds all my accessories. I had to get something, I had been using this basic black Brenthaven bag that I managed to get for free. It's durable and tough, but I went to a big meeting today and there were at least 30 other people who had it. I knew i had to get something else. Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: BFG on January 14, 2006, 02:01:43 pm oh mate that looks nice, very nice heh, screw the rest of em, if i didn't allready have a bag i'd like the look of that one!!

For college, is it better to just buy a sleeve and have a regular backpack or do I get one of the over the shoulder computer bag + room for notebook backpacks? Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: ~Po~ TiroFino on June 26, 2006, 06:33:41 am Get the Brenthaven bag, it's amazing.
http://www.brenthaven.com/ I've had mine for 4 years now, and it's just like new. Everything fits in it, including books, etc. Title: Re: Laptop Bag Post by: :MoD:Shade on June 26, 2006, 02:50:00 pm The Fusion Navy does look pretty cool, but is there enough room for books in that?

You could even fit an illegal inmigrant from Tijuana.... Minuteman Alert - Suspect crossing the border with a Brenthaven bag.... Possible family member inside! |
