Title: can someone help me out here. Post by: KGB on September 04, 2005, 03:58:59 pm I finaly took up the courage and post my problem here.
Whenever I use safari to search the DAMN fourm I get this (http://users.pandora.be/stafkes/SS%20damn.jpeg%20.jpg) It doesn't show me the "Home Help Search Edit ...." button, just questionmarks. Same applies to the "reply Notify of replies Mark unread ...." buttons when posting or replying. It is prolly some setting in Safari, but I haven't figured out which one. Is there anyone out there who could help out an old Noob like me ;). Title: Re: can someone help me out here. Post by: Civrock on September 04, 2005, 08:18:36 pm I had something exactly like this when Mauti moved from yaBBSE to SMF. In yaBBSE there were several languages installed which you could choose from, Mauti didn't install them in SMF, though. I had many missing images because I was using the german language pack. Once I told Mauti that I noticed this he installed it and evrything was fine again and I changed it to english. :P
So yeah, were you using a different language pack at some point? If yes, which one? Exactly the images are missing which are different in language packs, others are okay. But it's odd... Firefox should have he problem, too, if this is the case. Makes not really sense. Title: Re: can someone help me out here. Post by: BFG on September 04, 2005, 10:11:45 pm Aaaah thats what it was civic, i remembered you mentioning the problem but i couldn't for the life of me remember what the specific problem was (the menu .gif images with the text in the diff languages)... but like you said if fire-fox is having no issues, well it wouldn't make any sense for that not to work!!
Title: Re: can someone help me out here. Post by: Civrock on September 04, 2005, 11:36:52 pm D'uh, I just looked into KGB's profile and it says there that he set it to Dutch, but this language isn't installed here (it apparently was in yaBBSE).
