Title: Re: Was Einstein wrong about the constant 'c'? Post by: gsr on August 21, 2005, 09:12:35 pm I think Einstein postulated that the speed of light was constant in a vacuum. That light slows down in other media is well known. I have read some reports of "faster than light" effects mostly dealing with "quantum tunneling", but light going faster than light ... news to me. As Spock would say: fascinating.
