Season XI Admins:

The admins and I have created a preselection of admins that may join the current staff for season XI. There are a lot of good guys out there that would make a great admin - however we broke this group down to 3 people. Our preselection was decided on activity in GameRanger and/or Forum, knowledge of rules and english skills. Of course there have been other minor points as well.

You have to feel comfortable with this crew and trust it, so it's up to you to may express worries, may suggest better candidates(you should know that they want to be an admin), or back them up.
Please keep your PRO and CONTRA on an objective level.

Here are our candidates, a few names are maybe already familiar with you:

- GhostSniper
- Vickedson
- Civic

The admin team of season X will also continue to keep the *DBL running:

- BFG
- spike
- Krush
- Red Tigah
- Static

I'm kinda lost here, I'm not sure of the format of the voting if it is. Are they gonna have speeches or something, maybe to let people know a bit about themselves? Kinda like a class body election?

Of course every canditate is free to promote itself - however it's not a real vote, we just want to see if the community would accept these new admins or not!?

If you have worries we would like to see some PRO and CONTRA posted, so we can decide on these extra inputs we may haven't been aware. Further if someone of the community suggests another canditate and this suggestion is welcomed by many people here - we gonna look to add him or taking him instead of a preselection we made.

So from the input we get from you we gonna make the final selection and/or discuss other suggestions with you here.

i'd like to suggest Sheixhundt additionally, for all the great efforts he did in case of cheating in RvS. :) BFG, too, but he is BL admin already. ;)

I think Vickedson will make a great Battle League admin.  I also think Civic will do a good job, as he has already been one and knows what he's doing.  The current admin team did a great job in Season X, and with BFG's leadership in the coming seasons, I think the *DBL will be an exceptional place to kill your fellow man (or woman, as the case may be).  ;)

Get some RvS people on that list too. So far it's spike and BFG(as I have seen in some games lately).

Well, with the introduction of the new BTs RvS server (thanks Harvey!), I have started playing RvS again (I stopped when Bucc's |MP| server caught fire and died a year and a half ago).  You can catch me nightly in there.  ;D

I have no porblems wih any of the admins and think they would all do a great job. I feel however that I can't vote on who would make the best one though as I haven't spend very much time on these forums.

Not that I am really disagreeing, I wanted to point out that Sheix has never been in a CB, but I still think he could pull it off.

I agree with Civic coming back, and the addition of Vick.

I say nominate MrT. He's been from the outside looking in, nows the time for him to have a say. Put some infusion of fresh blood in Admins.

Not a very big forum poster so i know ghostsniper the best although ive cbed civic couple times. GS great player and nice guy

fresh blood? the entire admin team is new except for bfg. We've only run one season, and none of us were admins before this.

I am for Ghost Sniper and Mr T.

Ghost Sniper has always been level headed, fair, and very 'pro' community.

Mr. T  is fair, knows the game inside and out, and is of strong character.

I think he is reasonable, and has a good perspective on a lot of issues,
He seems honest and straight foward, so youll never have to worry about him feeding you bullshit.

I'd like to start by thanking the *DAMN BL for a very unexpected nomination.  Recent events around these boards and on Gameranger have fueled many voices into once again becoming active in this great league...That's awesome.

Ghostsniper and Civic are two very deserving candidates for this position.  From what I recollect both became active around the same time I did and would do a wonderful job in assisting DBL participants for many seasons to come.  Although both have post counts that make me laughable I want all to know that I've been playing competitively since Season 4 while keeping track of pretty much every issue that has come up along the way...

I'm 26, live and work in New York City as an interior/industrial designer.  I am primarily a Ghost Recon player but enjoy and participate in Raven Shield as well.  Feel free to contact me on Gameranger any time if you want to talk.  I'm on primarily every weekday night 8pm-1am EST and most weekend days.

Mauti asked me if I wanted to go for a spot, and to be honest, I'm nost sure why I never considered it. So, as another RvS player(and one from Europe to keep BFG company) I make my name available for discussion.

All 3 would be an awesome choice. If it had to come down to one, I'd have to vote GhostSniper. I mean he's already on everyday for the General Gossip, so checking the forums wouldn't even be a problem. Vickedson because he is a mature gamer who would do the best thing for the community at all times. Civic for his experience and dedication to the Mac gaming platform.

I don't see why they all couldn't be elected. The more the merrier they say.

I'll vouch for Brutha - he is level headed and can usually provide a different aspect on things.
