I always wanted to know who in your opinion are the best rvs/ghr players....especially for ghr
I might be wrong but i think its - bonfire and................rampage ?

As for RVS, until they release PB for us (which they won't),
It is a totally moot question.

The bell curve violations are still too extreme.
The bell curve is inherent and inviolable in nature,
and when its out of whack (consistently), there be monkee bid'ness.

Top three for now, in my opinion...Assgoblin, Blake, and Aut.
And Gem, when he played regularly.

There are lots of good quality GhR players out there but the guys i always knew id have a good fight against included people like Shade and  Rampage.

I'd like to include [a] ferret on that list - he's actually one tough cookie to kill and that's not really being Bias. Ofc, all the above mentioned are top players....who is best? hard to tell, they all have great skills and in various areas. Most consistant, seems to be Bonfire IMO.

I don't think i would be in the running for the biggest penis, but I gotta be the best active Gal player.....well the only one that plays really - there are a few good ones, like Jazzy and cow, but they don't seem to play much anymore.

Nah, it's BFG or Shade. I'd say BFG and then Shade.. There isn't a pair out there that can match them without cheating :p

If This is best ive seen play.... absolutely no question it would be MP Lothario.
He could take out 20 or 30 players on his own, back in the 36 player siege days. But if i had to pick a player i would want with me in a cb currently it would be Bonfire!

Oh boy i miss those games... there was nothing quite like the |MP| Siege 36 player games, 3 spawns, 10 minutes of carnage! ;D But  Well now let me see,  there was more than one player 'guest' who could do that regally!

My vote for people who dont play anymore would be Splinter or Lin, I s'pose that's a bit biased, but oh well.  Doc, Bob & Ssick are all runners up too (I'd like to say all the c| guys, but these three stick out in my mind.)

Plus BFG, Loth, GS, and a few other guys I considered to be in the top tier of GhR players.  As for RvS, like people have said, so much cheating going on, you cant really say.

As a member of MP durring our servers glorious pwnage, i am a vet of playing in 4vs32 action, and winning.
I can tell you that Loth is an amazing sniper, typically 20+ kills each game and one of the most consistant players i've ever seen. Ace, cossack, and willie get points for being able to play the game very well with computers that hardly ran the game.

My personal record in ghost recon is 63kills in 10 minutes on that really small map with the railroad going through it (i don't remember the name its been a while).

Just like to toss in Kinetic for consideration.

And the ole' (unt crew, who showed me how the game was played, way back when.

i'd throw z][t-Magnetic into the mix too. shade is solid so is BFG.
Civic, Neo, stripes are all people that deserve recognition for their skills. Eight and Acri have been solid players from day one. i used to hate to play against Joka....::sniper::

Shade, one of the best teamplayers with Civic and Rampage.

For RvS i would say Kinetic that man is untouchable, but Hybrid comes just after dunno how they can kill so many without getting killed themself its amazing.

They had a friend called cheatfly. It was a good friend to both of them. 3ID Solidus and Leper were big fans of this one too...silly kids. It was a perfect no-recoil hack. You could put a full hi clip mag full of bullets on FULL AUTO into the same bullet hole all the way across PEAKS with a FAL. so yeah um whatever...get some new heros. And yes , its EASIEr than shit to spot, so those of you anxious to flame me, are welcome to eat me, because I showed a TON of people, so they could see for themselves.

To his credit, (see? im being fair here) Im pretty sure Hybs cleaned up his act in the last few months and props where due, a pretty good tactical player..(and even with him playing clean, i didnt like being the last player alive on the map with him) but I lost all respect for him from his more 'accurate' days, and wouldnt trust him as far as I could throw him.

And SAR? Now theres a pathetic soul. I caught that fucking moron using the most obvious and easy to spot cheat known to RVS so many times I lost count. Hes Sooo smart that of course he convinced himself that no one could see it..but the giveaway was so obvious as to make his hysterics almost endearing.

If a kids going to cheat in one game... what's saying he doesn't cheat in another.

in the case of GhR... the game engine, which doesn't make SUCH typical and extensive unreal-engine cheats possible, as they exist for RvS.

Sar?  well He asked me for my AA account a while back, and when i refused, he called me a dick, then he trolled the bar and grill for some sucker to give up their acct as well.  Id bet GOOd money it was becuase he got global banned in AA too for cheating at some point.

All this said: i would EMPHASIZE...95% of the players are clean....so really, again, I didnt mean to take the attention off the clean ones you guys are referring to, and giving respect to (being that this wasnt a cheating thread-my bad). There are some tremendous players out there that EARNED that respect, and wouldnt want the cheaters to detract from that.

I know, excuses, excuses... the more I watch -bonfire the more impressed I become. I can never really seem to get him, he's always half a step ahead of me. Lucky for me, I'm not playing against him very often. -Twist's frags have always baffled me... he always manages to get the frags to land directly on my head, and they always come from what seems to be nowhere. One of the best guys to play along side with. -Civic, though I haven't been playing with him very much lately I remember one time very well... We were on farm, Civic spawned near the barn and we spawned near the house, my team begins scattering about and 1 by 1 we fall. Civic landed one nade on all but one of us... he managed to use 1 nade on each of us. -Acri is the one that really got me started in *DAMN... This guy amazes me, the way he plans out each and every move. He's one of the most dynamic players in the game and he's known for his 1 hit kills.

not sure why everyone is mentioning civic, the only thing I will give civic props on is his ability with the noob launcher.  Matter of fact, I think that is the only gun he uses?  Just wondering if that is what everyone is talking about that makes him SO good.

yeah, well, a year ago, spamming wasn't that much of a problem. It was more skills back then. Now, last time I played there were noob launchers all over the place. Might be that I'm getting to used to RvS with no nade launchers, but still. And bonfire? none of us knew who that was back then. Things change indeed(and I can see the ones that played the game a year before I started playing going "who the fuck is THIS guy?!?").

Civic it was nothing personal, I just wanted to know if you had gotten good with the bullet part of the OICW since we last played.

lol... lets start on the "old skool", things were a lot different a while ago, people change, people move on. On a personal note, i would'nt say anyone was better than anybody else personally. People have their good days, sometimes not. Personally, some of the "better" players i have seen at the moment (and i dont play a lot) was most of the [a] team, they seam to have good team play. See i also think this thread is pretty much pointless, as the game itself/league is based on team play, so surely it would go on... whose been the strongest team/or who were the good teams to go against?. Yes there were some good players a year ago, just like there is now, some have faster macs, some don't, same with connection speeds etc.

and btw, i still have the biggest penis, seeing as no-one contested it.

Would be cool to have all the active teams nominate 1 or 2 guys as their best players and do a solo LMS. Play it something like the Spring Tourney or maybe a best of 10 games and stop all this sensless trash talking about who's got a bigger dick  ;)

Me and Sar definitely pioneered that. It wasn't as easy as it looked, and was quite a good strategy. I hate when people crack on something because they can't do it.

I would have to say.. eight sign and fusion were all realy good back in the day.. GOD was also a good player back in the day as well.. Twist has come along way sence I first met him (pre-clan time for him) and allowed him to join GM.. He has b/c realy good.. Onwig and sent were great together.. I was not too bad either.. thats when I used to play alot). BFG is realy good.. and some on the old N guys when they used to play alot were realy good. GS was always good at finding spots that you could never find him at (and normaly it was spots that were protty out in the open.. he just knew how to blend in with things well) Crypt and sar were always a tough team in CQB to beat... But over all I think every one had there little things that made them better in some ways then others.. so I say its almost anyone of the guys we say on here

ohh.. And i forgot and the MP guys... they always seemed to own in every GhR game they played in... and If they lost.. it was still one hell of a battle

It was never proven that Fridge was a cheater. I was a friend of his online (and yes even after our predicament) and he surely would have offered anything he had to me (and I would declined of course), but he never did. So, when you think about it, there's more evidence for him rather than against him.

SL was our biggest rival while I was in GhRa and I never once saw Fridge cheat, he was just really good.

I have lost my touch recently, tho, as I seem to have misplaced my other Sixers, and playing in a six man server with a ping of 250 and 5 guys who got the game yesterday becuase they just released the game in middle-east Camelstan has NO appeal to me whatsoever.

but we were all stone cold witness to the RAGE known as Kurtz the other night...fear him..

As i Recall he Pwnt the SHIT out of some snow in Peaks, then, omfg he raped a bunch of windows and an office desk in Presidio. Next he was like spitting and screeching like the tasmanian devil while abusing a bunch of barrels and a Toyota truck in BOTH Warehouse maps. To top it all off, i watched that angry bastard HBS and C4 camp a bunch of crates to death in the boxroom under CityStreets...I get splinters just thinkin about it....cold..calculating murder.

Of course this all happened before he gassed himself, got lost in one of his smoke grenades (noob) dropped a grenade at his feet and blew himself off a catwalk onto the forklifts below.  **shudders**

Oh the HUMANITY, oh the HUMANITY.  He did it agian to another clan (can't remember who, I believe it may have been MoD, not sure?) in a 1v3.  To win the cb in both cases.

it's hard to tell who the best is, people has different gameplay.. not everyone can play with the GL etc.. and then some one just doesn't know how to place a sensor :P .. i would say i suck at tactical gaming, im getting better at it tho.. but what is the point in taking the long way for killing you when i can do it face to face grrr ...  :D

i think this thread should be about who is the most loathesome prick in these games. my vote, without hesitation or doubt is for AK DEORA. that he was ever asked to be in a clan boggles my mind. there is nobody i have ever come across who talks more trash (especially as, at best, a painfully average player), tks more, instigates more crap or is generally more disruptive and unpleasant than this ass hat. i defy anyone to suggest a superior candidate.

the thing i have experienced with baron is that he is ridiculous, and after a while it is really funny. and if you joke back with him the way he is ranting with you, it is amusing. i have never experienced him as a tker or a prick in rooms. and he never ruins games the way deora does. i think they should ban deora from game ranger for the good of the service.
