Title: TV Tuners Post by: BTs_Mysterio on April 16, 2005, 08:31:19 am Looking for a TV tuner for my G5. I don't know what connection type is best, but I have free PCI, USB, and firewire. Not looking for HD or any other expensive such things, but a essentials... decent quality TV tuner.

Their pricing seems a bit steep for such basic features... let's take a gander here... AlchemyTV DVR (Mac)? (http://www.mostlydigital.ca/detail.php?recordID=H31698)

I got one in my G5... it has several input types and when going full screen on 1280x1024 and you sit a few feet from your screen its like watching on a regular TV almost no distortion. They also have great support: My card stopped working one day and I sent em a mail to ask what to do, 2hrs later I allrdy had a response from them telling me to test some stuff. I told em it didn't work and they sent me another mail to get my address so they could sent me a new copy :) Title: Re: TV Tuners Post by: BTs_Mysterio on April 19, 2005, 09:28:34 pm I'm gonna be getting it soon. I always worry about anything external so the AlchemyTV DVR sounds perfect.
