Guys, I need help in this subject at the moment.

Here are the equations:
• Time Dilation: t=t_o/sqrt(1-v^2/c^2)
• Length Contraction: L=L_o*sqrt(1-v^2/c^2)

I've been making a program to calculate an answer to each variable (t, t_o, v, L, L_o). So far the original equation works, but the others don't work when I do them by hand and compare them to fellow classmates. HELP ANYONE!

The round-trip transit time of light along the horizontal arm is straightforwardly calculated as t(h) = (2L/c)/(1-v^2/c^2).
The round-trip transit time of light along the vertical arm is straightforwardly calculated as t(v) = (2L/c)/sqrt(1-v^2/c^2)
As t(h) is observed to be equal to t(v), L has been assumed  by Lorentz to contract by sqrt(1-v^2/c^2).
Hence, t(h) = (2L*sqrt(1-v^2/c^2)/c)/(1-v^2/c^2) = (2L/c)/sqrt(1-v^2/c^2), which is identical to t(v).

sorry but if you're trying to make money off those cartoons, i think you'll find the arts to be the most unforgiving of all. i don't want to be mean, but those look like 8th grade notebook doodles.

there's really no such thing as hand coding.

ok ok so you can't chisel the individual letters and numbers out on a slab of stone then run around it going "ooga booga" while thumping your chest. But do do get the odd weirdo who decides not to use any form of site builder and instead opts to write the code in a word processor or somthing crazy!

i can make real basic html sites like that. i hate the nerds that get all uppity when someone uses dreamweaver just because it's not natural or something...i don't even know i just hate those nerds.

god i know exactly what you mean bronoto - its the "the quality of hand written code is so much better you cant use crappy apps like dreamweaver the code they make is so bad and so slow and my hand written code is so pure and good" etc approach -  personally i haven't ever seen a really good looking 'hand coded' site -but fair play to anyone who can produce stuff by hand at the same speed and to the same quality of someone armed with dreamweaver or equivelant!
