Title: The Wooster Collective.
Post by: spike on March 28, 2005, 11:16:33 pm
I'm not really sure how, but while surfing the web during my humanities lecture this morning, I came upon the Wooster Collective (http://www.woostercollective.com). The site is dedicated to recording street art, grafitti and counter culture in general. Right now its been documenting the man who had been going tino museums, and hanging up his own work, something I think is really cool. Anyway, the site has a lot of cool images, and a lot of links to other cool sites. Heres a sample of what you might find:

it's just not impressive unless you come accross it yourself. i could look at graffiti all day, but i have no desire to look at pictures of it. in my travels i would have to say that Paris has the best graffiti, NYC doesn't even come close. if you get on the metro and look out the window, it's like a moving art gallery outside.

edit: it's a cool idea for a site though i bookmarked it anyway.
