Title: Some selling tips Post by: Maniac on March 07, 2005, 04:42:14 am I hope to sell my computer this month or when apple updates the G5's. So if anyone could give me some ideas on how to clean it up and make it look nice. It's a G4 800mhz imac 17" with 768 RAM and i not exactly sure how much i can get. On Ebay some like mine are going for around 1,000 which is amazing. The keyboard has a lot of junk in it but it seems to have parts that cant be cleaned. So really selling this computer is my only option to decent frame rates and less headaches. 8)
Title: Re: Some selling tips Post by: spike on March 07, 2005, 04:48:43 am You can remove most of the keys pretty easily, or clean in between them using a q-tip. Apple has some good cleaning solutions, and Mr. Clean's Magic Erasor always works wonders.

Alcohol and some paper towels will clean pretty much everything. Or you can get some of those special computer cleaning wipes from Wal-Mart.
