Title: Gameranger PC 0.4 Released...finally Post by: xoclipse on February 20, 2005, 01:43:04 am Hi guys, i decided to finally get 0.4 on sourceforge. It's been done for a few months i've just been too lazy to upload it and stuff. Anyway, here's the info on it. Let me know what you think of the improvements. I've also started using CVS, so you should be able to get the latest source that hasn't been releaesd yet from there.

If you host a normal game on your own everybody can join without a hassle.

The fact that you can see PC LAN servers in the RvS server browser doesn't mean that the networking protocol is the same.

From what I hear, Evill has the ability to not only ban your IP and your account...but also your Mac's personal electronic signature. Forget what it's called. So, even if you switched IP's, your mac itself would still be banned. Just what I've heard. And can anybody tell me what that's called? Mac address? Something like that. It is possible to change it though.
