Title: Re: My PowerBooks power supply... Post by: Supernatural Pie on February 10, 2005, 10:00:18 pm My mom went through dozens (ok, not quite... but a LOT) of power supplies for her old powerbook. Finally, after a couple years of killing adapters, someone at Apple told her:
"You're supposed to plug the cable into your computer and THEN plug it into the power supply." :o Doing it in the reverse order will kill your power cable. Definitely one of the most counter-intuitive things ever to come out of Apple. Title: Re: My PowerBooks power supply... I never knew that about the cable though - more often than not i have it plugged in - and then just connect it to the laptop when im home etc to charge it up... perhaps not good practice |
