Title: Good superbowl food?
Post by: Mr.Mellow on January 30, 2005, 08:41:44 am
Since the Superbowl is only a we ek away, and I've had onme too many drinks, I figured I'd see what people tended to eat on good ol' Superbowl Sunday. Any traditions? Chilli, nachos, mini pizza bagels, and the like. I make a mean chilli. Maybe tomorrow whe n I"m sobered up I'll put the recipe up. And...for the Euros, who don't watch the Superbowl. umm. Any good World Cup recipes? If there is such a thing. What about when ya watch rugby with your buddies? i dunno. I just want food ideas so I can shovel food into my mouth by the truckful. So! Favorite super bowl foods?

We have this incredible spinach dip, but we had it a few weeks back when teams we cared about were actually playing so we can't have it again...it clogs arteries.

And Russians.

Super Bowl food: Quantity is the answer. I get so tired of all these "only 5 different things" pussies. You need as many tables as possible filled with everything you can get your hands on. 6 foot subs from Subway, pizza ( although those of us who are LI can't eat pizza ), chips, beer, anything. Quantity is the solution. The only special super bowl food for me would be salmon dip.

wings, chips, dip, booze, those little vienna sausages, pizza, pizza bagels, more booze, nachos, little hand candies (such as M & M's)

Could go on and on...but I agree with above poster in that you should get as much things as possible.

Im sorry, but there is definately an amount of Easy cheese that goes to far, some of my friends have never reached the limit, but I think that the stuff gets nasty after a while.

Negative, dark. EZ Cheez never gets disgusting. We'll go through like 6 cans of that stuff. Nacho Cheez flavor is the best. :D of course that wa before i started eating healthy, but I let myself have a disgusto-unhealthy-foodo day. Plus, I drink excessively rto balance out my healthy lifestyle.

BTW, when did you get back, Mellow? Welcome back. Yeah, Superbowl Sunday is a day where you don't care about money, shit take all the money from your last paycheck to buy food.

mmmm HOT WINGS!  The more the better.  But watch out a few days later.  The ass will be a burn'n.
Veggies and dip work well with the wings.  Pretzels, beer, and hookers make for a great half time show. ::applause::
