Post by: BTs_GhostSniper on January 30, 2005, 02:49:22 am Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I will be having surgery to have my tonsils removed on Tuesday, February 1. Doesn't sound like a big deal, and it's not when you are younger...but it's one of those things that gets very bad the older you get. I'm 31, and they say at my age it is a very unpleasant experience. So, I may be drugged up for most of next week and may not be able to grace you all with my presence...which especially sucks cause I'll miss the first week of the FFA Ladder for Season X. But hey, maybe I'll just get online all drugged up and REALLY piss some people off! lol[/size]

I tried to get back in after Sept 11, but they said I had been out too long to get back in (which I think is total BS because they are forcing people who don't want back in to go on active duty). But, the Air Force doctor who was supposed to have removed my tonsils in 1995 is the same person who is now my civilian doctor and will be performing the surgery for me. Just 10 years late. Also, never had a problem with bad breath, but that is interesting, Civic. My problem is that I get a bad case of strep twice a year and usually end up in the hospital. So I figure that having a sore throat for 10 days after this surgery is better than having strep twice a year for the rest of my life![/size] Title: Re: GhostSniper Losing His Tonsils! Post by: BTs_GhostSniper on February 02, 2005, 06:33:46 am Well, had my tonsils out this morning at 6:45 am U.S. CST Time and I'm still here to talk about it...well, write about it anyways. Ever so drugged up though....lol. I'm currently taking Tylox and Demeral, switching between the two every 2 hours for the pain. The doctors and nurses said my tonsils were "huge" and they were all very impressed by my size (hope that was a reference to tonsil size...lol). So anyways, I should be online soon to do some more FFA Battles and hopefully regain my title as FFA Grandmaster of the world. w00t!
