You hear it here folks, unless you read Slashdot.  Uwe Boll, a well-known director for games to movies, is writing the script for the movie.  Ben Affleck and Colin Farrell have expressed some type of interest into the movie. http://games.slashdot.org/games/05/01/29/054215.shtml?tid=133&tid=97&tid=10.

So far, this makes two new movies in the making from computer games.

although i think Colin Farrell is gay (particularly after watching Alexander)... he was pretty good in S.W.A.T and would fit best into a CS ( ::ass:: ) movie.

Absolutely awesome. If done well, id see it more then once, buy it, and watch it over and over again.

lol... counter-strike the move, after playing the game it'll be weird watching it, not that they would be anywhere near similar.

I wonder what the plot would be in the movie... I mean... They really can't do Iraq, because the game is based upon the future, really the only place would be North America. There should also be a plot twist... Where they kill Michael Moore.

If anything, a Half-Life movie would be well received.

They have been rewriting the script. It's on its sixth writer. No attachments. No start date. Paramount's in some upheavel right now, so a lot of things are up in the air over there. 2006 is still possible.

LOL, looking at Uwe Bolls merits, I excpect to see Burt Reynolds in a leading role. Rebel, you might be the only one at the theatre when you see it.
