But "Lucy in the sky with diamond" wasnt written about LSD...its a drawing lennons son made....He drew lucy in the sky with diamonds...as if you guys are going to believe that, but thats what lennon said about it.

Thanks for the memories here.  I used to do acid once in a while, and it was either inspiring or scared the shit out of me.  The drug is very very unpredictable.  I like shrooms more, kind of the same effects, but more mellow and controllable.

When you do synthetic drugs mixed in illegal labs, you are going to get what is coming for you. Acid in particular. Have a friend who did acid 8 years ago....bad trip and he still gets flashbacks

According to the guy who wrote THIS (http://www.egodeath.com/rushlyrics.htm) many of Rush's songs had to do with LSD, though I don't believe much of it.  But then again, how would I know what they were trying to write about.

Didn't macartney just admit that lucy in the sky with diamonds was about LSD? Even if the effects are scary, the drawings are fucking cool.

read the Electric Kool Aid Acid Test. one of the coolest books i've ever read. follows the merry pranksters during the 60's. the dead,(when they were the warlocks), ken kessey, tim leary, the hells angels etc. gives a true history of lsd and some of the most well known acid freaks during it's prime. You must read it if you want to know more about trippin'. but fah's right shrooms are much nicer. (especially if you pick em yourself), paper is really unpredictable, gel caps are cleaner. weed is the way to go though.
