However, the very fact that they were sent adds confusion to the election there.
My read is it's an "oops", one that would fuck Bush as much as Kerry. I mean, if you're a Bush supporter there just nowhere for you to vote. And if you're smart and realize the holes have just been dropped down one, you're still marking the spot next to Kerry... which would make you shit bricks. So it's no good for anyone. Yeah...a lot of US paper ballots have the "connect the arrows" system...others a hole punch...others you just put your vote into a computer, which eats it and decides to vote the way it was programmed ;) Oh and I'm sure this is horribly incorrect, but I'm going to try and use some of my limited Dutch vocabulary: De stemming is gisela! It seems a bit awe-inspiring the stupidity of some ballot creators how they can actively seek out a worse style ballot.
