Aspyr announced today that it will publish a Mac version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword. The title, licensed by Ubisoft, and under development at i5Works, takes the elite, multinational squad of counter-terrorist operatives to the exotic Mediterranean. Continuing the story from Raven Shield, Tom Clancy's popular series brings Team Rainbow back into action in Athena Sword. The game is projected to ship in October and can be pre-ordered now for US$29.99.

They won't ship in October, they changed the released date 3-4 x times when it came to Black Hawk Down, I don't see how they can promise to have it released in a month since they just announced its release today (Sept 2004).  But, who knows... ???

Well they have done most of the work with porting the engine already. But when has Aspyr ever released a game on time?

I actually don't like AS very much. The maps all seem stupid, but I assume that's what this community will be moving to. :)

it's sad (well, not really ;D) but this 4 year old game is still much better than the few months old RvS. :D

its because most G3's cant run RvS they cling to Ghr with a 450mhz requirment.  :-X

The higher requirements make the game fail, even I don't enjoy the game on most occasions. I am thinking about getting a G5 iMac next summer, but then again, that IS next summer. Oh well.

On a computer as useless as yours, perhaps.

The BL is mostly mature, but i can think of a few people that need to grow up. I am not going to say any names due to the fact the it would start flames.
