In photoshop if you show only the blue colour channel you will see in one of the pics "fake fake fake".

We should find out what the real g5 imac looks like on Tuesday at the Paris Expo. I hope they do release it at Paris cos I have waited so long.

Could they really put the base unit that close to the screen?

Given the fact that this new imac will be a G5, and the heat issues, there are more holes in the G5 tower than a cheese grater.

there are very strong rumours about that the hardware will be behind the screens... it's almost a fact i'd even say.

The G5 truly isn't otter clock per clock. Assuming they use a 90nm the iMac will run as cool as a old G4. If they use the 130nm they may have issues. The only heat (assuming 90nm) that I would be concerned about is if those LCDs are on the lower end. Some of those LCDs put off tons of heat.

I like it, im sure its gonna be anything like what we see but i wouldn't complain if it was!

Yes i agree with snipe, i have one it's the most horrible mac i could have gotten at the time.

Well I think the G5 will last you at least a good 3-4 years in this iMac. Games are starting to come out at a better pace. I just might get a Rev B before i go off to college. (assuming i go to the non local school)

What do you mean 2nd day? The keynote is on the first day of the Expo.

I think he means Monday is supposed to be the first day so tuesday is the second day keynote to him.

BFG, they usually aren't supposed to be real, they are just too good and playing around. But I would say this one was a exception. He was being a stupid fuck for spreading lies like he saw it in a elevator and opened it. A shame there are so many assholes out there.

mostly some pretty shitty designs(the pentagon, and the second to last one) i like the last one tho, pretty fucking cool. but wouldnt a g5 need a larger space to be stored? i mean the towers are 40 pounds or so, could you fit that into the space used by the g4 imac?

now i'm not saying this because i'm on a pc, i still wub macs. but, it seems like your unhealthy obsession with what the next piece of plastic will look like is kind of a waste of life, no?

First of, in the original picture, if you look closely, the screens don't even match.  The top pictures have grey/black side, while the bottom have white sides.  We'll just have to wait and see what Apple pulls out tomorrow.
