Title: Apple Recalls 15" PB For Safety Reasons Post by: |MP|Nomad on August 20, 2004, 01:56:51 am Hey folks, this only applies to people that have bought a new 15' PB from January 2004 to August 2004. I just got an email from Apple, since I got a 15" PB in January 2004, that there has been 4 reported cases of these model PBs batteries overheating to the point turned on fire (is that even a proper term ???). I checked my model battery and I am fine, it appears to have been the most recent released PBs that have been affected.
