*DAMN R6 Forum

RS is pretty much history now, unless it get's bumped up to date with OSX. so, let's just have a little fun and think back through all of the clans that played RS and remember your favorite. not for who was the best, or who was the most skilled, but who overall was your favorite to play (can't pick your own, can't pick TAF lol)

ok, of course my favorite would be (UNT! never any arguments, always funny, always a strong opponent. good stuff. not to mention Big Pat raping me with his words.

But I loved TAF! Remember that CB, Brain? ;)

My vote would probably have to go to *NADS. A group of decent players who were in it for fun. I had some great CBs against you guys.

Also, the origonal KotA is right up there too. Someday, Splooshy, someday, I'll get my revenge.

My favorite was always SWAT, they were always our best competition and had real cool people in it like Grift, Oso and Matt.

Yeah, *NADS was always a solid group of guys, always humorous and fun to play with.

"(UNT!" was a waste of time. Never really CBed thus not a clan in my books.

My vote is for *NADS.

My favorite clan would be all the clans I was in.

FBI.

Well, I've gotta put my vote in for *NADS overall, just because... well... they're mine.

Dr.'s were always fun to play with, as were the (unt's.

KoS for a good battle, AK for a good flamewar.

OoA or SWAT if I wanted to get my shit ruined.

DisneY or Ninja for a laugh.

And whichever clan snipey had started that week if i just wanted to own n00bs.

     I'm gonna go against the grain here and say AK was my favorite to play against. 'Course, everything before and after the game sucked, but damn they were fun games. The few times I participated in CBs against them, I laughed my ass off at least once per CB. Causing that much dismay and ruin for my opponents never got old.

     Especially when Typhy had his PDW on safety. I've thought back on that and laughed and laughed.

LoL no1 said KoS. MB its cause they are still recovering from the torment we caused.

what about RnT? one of the clans wich are still alive..

No one said KoS because you would always jump in for one mad dash per season...

RnT was one of my favorite clans to play against, always a good laggy match. :)

Not to start a flame war or anything but the only reason you could view it that way is because everyone was scared to lose by us in the BL, only a few clans had the balls to accept our challenges. "not enough members, or i gotta go, or my ping sucks today, or my computer is indexing (wink)" We didn't win any of the BL seasons by fluke or cheating the system is all I'm trying to say.

And let's not begin to talk about the ownage before the BL became known as "seasons".......

The indexing thing wasn't an excuse not to CB. That was during a CB.

On the subject of things that weren't flukes, how about those losses to *NADS? ;)

In the end, KoS was the best RS clan of all time, there's no question about it. The reason why those "mad dashes" worked so well for them was because they could beat the top clans on the ladder, so they got points fast.

KoS was good, but there can never be one best clan. The mad dash has nothing to do with excuses Ult, it has to do with a underhanded tactic. Let the others build up points and ranking then use the old loophole for fast points.

KoS owned the most and NADS bullshitted the most, and Typhy sucked the most.

Sigh. Its amazing how i whip u all the time but when u beat me once u use it OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Also, u know that u cant beat me in any game now a days so i just recollect back to the old days. Amazing. If u think that hurts me, think again.

Then those top rank clans didn't deserve to be ranked that high.  If those top 5 clans were that good they would have stopped us from winning any points.

We didn't play a single noob clan in season 2 in order to win the season.

Fact is, we all loved each other, the pure adreneline of the Cb's, the mad trash talking, raping someone in the hallway in met, or just the extasy of playing blue on depot made it all worth the effort. It was a great game and some awesome CB's were fought to the very end. Too bad no game since has brought us so much love...

Now lets keep the drama alive with who was the best RS player of all time..hee hee...

My vote would go to either Grifter or...nope, that's it, Grif was and still is the King of RS. IMHO!

kind of off topic but on the topic of players. every time i did something good people would just be like pff wtf and omgwtfnoobed when i got like a 5 kill. bastards. you hurt my computer ego.

We may have bullshitted, but our bullshit was at least as powerful as KoS's ownage. I seem to remember our CB record tied at 2-2, both wins in KoS's otherwise undefeated season.

Or, maybe as Cookie put it, we've just got the wub.

As for 1v1's, I seem to remember losing only one, which was played against a PCer I met through Grifter's KDX hangout, though other than that I mostly battled AK's when they called me out after I did something or another to piss them off.

I also remember ejo losing to cookie.

Yeah no disrespect *NADS owned a lot of people back in the day as well as KoS. Cookie beat ejo for two reasons one he seems to have these periods where he totally sucks, i mean Rapid could beat him during these. Two he can't handle cookie at the Training Maze. :o

The only clan we've had a negative record against was psyco because they broke up before we could re-match them. I think we lost to them in a friendly cb but it still hurt :(

The only cb KoS and SWAT had was a 4vs4 and KoS won 6-1. Then things went kinda downhill for SWAT with the passing of Grift and players going inactive.

After SWAT and PsYcO were gone KoS was the only super power clan left and it was just fun gang raping AK constantly. That about sums up how I remember the rs days.

Grift was definatley my favorite player. We played everynight together learning from eachother and sharing ideas. I think we both became better players off of eachother.

Grifter left SWAT for SECT before he passed away. The way I understand it, he was unhappy with some of the members of SWAT ( Oso and some others in CF, etc ).

all this talk really makes me want RS to come back. i was thinking, since the chances of it being made open source, could someone do it illegally and bring it up to date with OSX? i mean ffs, it's our game we bought it, and who would ever know? it's already got the plugin on gameranger, if anyone asks just be like yeah i'm playin on my imac with os9 or something stupid, i mean who's ever going to find out?
