I disagree, i consider GS a very good friend on GR, he always has time for me, and that means more than money or what he does for a living.

that's a really nice idea but I have to refuse your offer and close this petition, simply because I don't know how often I'll be online when university starts again, so it probably would be a waste of your hard earned money, further I don't need any Premium features to support this community, but thanks to all of you, but it's not necessary.

TY for the link, great story but 1 question, did everyone's contribution pay for the WHOLE thing, or did Mauti have to pitch in a little himself?

Also, and please this is important, he mentioned in his story about when he was debating about getting the G5's, that the FW 800 model PBs had a motherboard bug, and that Apple has still not fixed it.  I have a G4 15" 1.25 FW 800 model, and I am curious what this is all about.  And, if there is a firmware update that I can DL, b/c haven't heard anything.

Yep Nomad, 1/3 came from the community, 2/3 from myself. Civic my powerbook doesn't have  a superdrive so it was much cheaper than 2000 bucks, further I got it for 24percent less ;) - Connections make the world go round.
