It got 50 votes? That's shameful. (As in it got so many)

It was a ridiculous amendment that would've destroyed the limits on the federal government and brought government even more into the control of our lives. We don't need a nanny state, we need freedom - and part of that freedom is to get rid of state marraiges all together!

See what I mean west. There is nothing positive to report on Bush because he is pleading for the senate to ban gay marriage sounding like a homophobic moron.

I reversed the numbers -- it got 48 FOR, 50 AGAINST.

Well atleast one part of the United States is part sane.
