Title: How to create a sniper reticle? Post by: :MoD:Shade on July 10, 2004, 06:45:44 am I posed this question in Cocobolo's section of the forums but it seems as though they are all windows users so maybe this area would be better for me...;)
What i'm trying to do is create a sniper ret. I've used the ret making tutorial found here: http://www.planetrainbowsix.com/dtd/ret_tutorial.htm but i'm really confused at the alpha channeling part. I've tried using the .RSB convertor and opening that in photoshop but i cannot see the alpha channeling. I also tried using the rsb.8bi plugin for photoshop but i cannot seem to get that working. Photoshop still doesn't recognize the .rsb files. Any Suggestions? Title: Re:How to create a sniper reticle? Post by: Scrach not logged in on July 11, 2004, 07:40:46 pm well If you are having trouble with the RSB converting thing I know that the only place I was able to find a way to convert it was on the R6 disk. There is a converter on that disk if you have it. If not I am sure some one can give you a copy of the converter. But I am not sure about the channal things I have started a retecule but have never finished. Maybe I will now.

Post by: :MoD:Shade on July 12, 2004, 04:11:45 am The converter that is on the all the Rainbow Six cd's (except for RvS) works on MOST of the .rsb files in GhR...but it seems the file i want to convert it never wants to do it... :(

There are alot of great reticles..The RSB deal is a bitch but...There are work arounds...
