Title: Mac OSX ?? Post by: The Golden Shark on July 02, 2004, 04:48:03 pm can you install a new OS from a disk image. Its a long story, but its not piracy. Could anyone help me with this one? i have a bad feeling that i can't do it.

( after the disks leave my hands, they are very hard to obtain again.) now, it is time to begin on my lengthy journey in which i reboot my computer. (from .dmg files.) please, if you have anything to contribute to my struggle help me brother.

Title: Re:Mac OSX ?? Post by: theweakspot on July 03, 2004, 10:00:53 am You can't install 10.3 from a disk image. You need to burn the first install CD and install it, just make sure you burn it using the apple disk utility and not something like Toast-- it won't work.
